PAST EXHIBITIONS AND SUBSIDIARIES

I have been a full time painter for the past thirty years or so, it remains my passion, and each new painting an opportunity to deeper understand the properties and spirituality of paint and subject.  

I have always been drawn to painting the British Isle above all else.  The Flatness of my home in East Anglia to the remote rugged landscapes of Scotland, Wales and Ireland.  I start most of my paintings on location and often finishing them in my studio.  

My fascination with paintings started as a schoolboy, completely fascinated by traditional paintings, Turner and Monet to name a few.  I wanted to be them, in a way I still do!  It is this aim that informs my paintings, often grinding my own paint, incorporating traditional glazes and techniques.  

Over the last thirty years I have won awards and my paintings have found themselves in notable collections and all manner of wonderful places.  I have exhibited across the world and have for the past twenty years been represented by two leading London galleries.  I am also represented in East Anglia and the USA.
